Moreover, Mendeley helps you organize your research and keep up-to-date with the latest and directly or indirectly related research articles in your interested field. Mendeley helps simplify the research work. You can keep an extensive library of research articles that you have read or intend to read in the Mendeley library.
The objective is to efficiently manage your research data, avid thesis rejections, and advance your career by focusing on the quality of your research and Mendeley is just the right tool for it.
The Mendeley Hands-on Training Workshop
FNS has always aimed to improve the academic knowledge and efficiency of students by organizing various seminars and workshops. In an attempt to help our scholars with research citations, FNS arranged a hands-on training workshop on the efficient use of Mendeley software on Dec 08, 2021 at Amphitheatre, UVAS, Lahore.
Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, Assistant Professor FSHN conducted the workshop as a Trainer
Over 60 postgraduate students from different departments of UVAS got hands-on training using their laptops on the efficient use of different features of Mendeley software for storing and organizing reference articles, and generating citations and bibliographies in their synopsis and thesis following UVAS style.
In the opening ceremony, Director ORIC, Dr. Farhan Jamil shared his views about the significance and usefulness of reference management software in the research work.
In the end, worthy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad addressed the students and emphasized the need of enhancing their research management capabilities and soft skills and also distributed certificates among the attendees.
The workshop ended with a certificate distribution ceremony.
